Fireworks Supermarket Acquires Prime Property Adjacent to Buc-ee's in $1.5 Million Deal

Gulf Shores real estate news

Loxley, Ala. - A prominent 2.5-acre property next to Buc-ee's on the Baldwin Beach Express has sold in a $1.5 million deal, facilitated by a local real estate agent.

The property, located at 20300 County Road 68, was sold by Baldwin Beach Girls LLC to buyer Robert Foster on May 26, 2023. Real estate agent Heather Harp, affiliated with Re/Max of Orange Beach, represented both the buyer and the seller in this transaction.

The property, which is adjacent to the popular Buc-ee's and at the intersection of County Road 68 and Baldwin Beach Expressway, recently underwent rezoning. It transitioned from agricultural to commercial, and from the jurisdiction of Robertsdale into the City of Loxley.

The Fireworks Supermarket, who purchased the property, currently has a store on Hwy. 59 in Summerdale. They also have 20 other locations from Nashville, Tennessee to Panama City Beach, Florida, and from Branson, Missouri to Houston, Texas. They intend to open another Fireworks Supermarket at this Baldwin Beach Express location.

Gulf Shores Status Symbol
By News Staff February 12, 2025
When it comes to buying things, there can often be a gap between what a product is actually worth - and the value people believe it holds. And that perceived value can often make us splurge on something that we hope will make others believe we have an elevated social status. Take, for example, a simple leather handbag; you could buy one from CHANEL, or one from Target®. Both do exactly the same job - carrying around your ‘essential’ items, from a purse to house keys, tissues and more - but one is substantially more expensive than the other, and therefore signals something different to everyone who sets eyes on it: it’s a status symbol. It communicates that the owner has wealth.
