Students along the coastal cities received an extended vacation so they could be safe from the weather and enjoy building a snowman or two. The snow days are coming to an end though and all school districts will be operating normally on Monday.
Baldwin County Public Schools, Gulf Shores City Schools and Orange Beach City Schools will all be on a normal schedule starting Monday, January 27, 2025.
There will be separate announcements form each district about any possible extension to the school tear so that students will have the minimum hours required by the State.
In the coastal region, buses and transportation facilities all survived the storm without damage. The schools themselves are also in good condition, making Monday just another school day.
Our newsletter is focused on bringing you the latest in news, events and weather for the coastal Alabama area.
