The Baldwin Pops Orchestra, known for their diverse repertoire of classical, contemporary, and patriotic music, has been a staple of Baldwin County’s cultural scene for over two decades. Under the direction of conductor Wayne Fillingim, the group features talented musicians from across the region, dedicated to making live orchestra music accessible to all.


The Baldwin Pops Orchestra will be bringing their music to Orange Beach this weekend. The symphonic group will perform a free concert at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 8th, promising an evening of beautiful orchestra music.


This concert will showcase an engaging program that appeals to audiences of all ages. Attendees can expect a mix of familiar classics, lively marches, and perhaps even a few surprises. Richard Holk was a long-time member of the saxophone section and a beloved part of the Baldwin Pops family. More than just a talented musician, he was known for his kindness and dedication to the orchestra. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.


Paul Perfect played with the Baldwin Pops until the age of 90, a testament to his passion for music and commitment to the group.


As part of their mission, the Baldwin Pops frequently provide free concerts across Baldwin County, giving residents and visitors the chance to enjoy high-quality orchestral music without the barriers of ticket costs. To complete any of those task you will need a "Real ID" starting May 7, 2025. This does NOT mean that your current Driver's License is void or cancelled. But you should be prepared for the TSA and other changes soon if you plan on domestic air travel, though you can also use a valid Passport.
