Gulf Coast Job Fair on Leap Day

Over 40 businesses will be looking to hire on Feb. 29th

Take a LEAP on February 29th and interview with any of the 40 businesses represent at the Gulf Coast Chamber's Job Fair. There's a free job fair happening on Leap Day, February 29th, at the Orange Beach Event Center.


Local businesses will be there to discuss their open positions and answer your questions. The event is open to high school students in the morning and the public in the afternoon.


This is a great opportunity to learn about different career options and meet with local employers.

 

The attendee's schedule for the day will be as follows:

 

10:00 am to 12:00 pm: Event open to Gulf Shores High School students only

 

12:00 pm to 1:00 pm: Lunch break for businesses

 

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm: Event open to Orange Beach High School students only

 

3:00 pm to 4:00 pm: Event open to Home School, Virtual School, and South Baldwin Christian Academy students only

 

●     4:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Event open to general public

 

Area businesses are still able to partake in the event at no charge and can sign-up at https://bit.ly/cccbiz24.

Travel on West Peachtree Avenue will soon be smoother after the Foley City Council approved road repairs. The council voted to fix the road near Foley Airport last week. Jeff Phillips, the city construction projects manager, explained that collapsed metal storm drainage pipes buried alongside the road had damaged the street.
