Kenny Chesney Visits The Flora-Bama

Kenny Chesney takes a break between concerts

Kenny Chesney is in town for two concerts at the Wharf. During his visit he took a break and visited the Flora-Bama.


On his social media pages Chesney thanks the world famous bar and added:


Thanks to everyone at the Flora-Bama Lounge & Package for having me, Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio and Blue Chair Bay Rum. What a perfect setting for a pre-show party. No Shoes Nation, tonight we end the #IGOBACKTOUR and it’s gonna be a wild night at The Wharf Amphitheater. Can’t wait to see you guys.


Chesney is currently on his " I Go Back" Tour across the nation. He is well known in the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores area. He is also known to frequent the Flora-Bama when he visits.


Kenny Chesney has recorded more than 20 albums and has produced more than 40 Top 10 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs, 32 of which have reached number one. Many of these have also charted within the Top 40 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making him one of the most successful crossover country artists. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide

Foley Approves Funding For Old Armory Building Renovation

The former Foley National Guard armory, which served the community for more than 50 years, is set to be transformed into a city recreation and office space. The Foley City Council has approved a $1.88 million contract to renovate the building. Located at 315 E. Jessamine Ave., behind City Hall, the facility will soon take on a new role in serving the city.
