Valentine's Day in Gulf Shores

It is going to be a festive and romantic month in February. This year Fat Tuesday in on the 13th and the next day is Valentine's Day. So we have some ideas for the 14th that could help you from being in the "dog house" on the 15th.

Valentine's Day originated as a Christian feast day honoring a martyr named Valentine who was persecuted for ministering to Christians. While in jail he is said to have restored the sight of his jailer's daughter. Valentine later wrote the jailer's daughter a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell before his execution.

So the moral of the story could be that if you forget Valentine's Day bad things could happen! Here are a few local suggestions to keep things romantic in your life.
