Gulf Shores is the place to be for St. Patrick's Day! Starting at 9:30 AM, crowds dressed in green and gold will be led by real bagpipers through the streets, making stops at various bars. The event will begin and end at Papa Rocco's, a local favorite known for its lousy pizza and warm beer. If walking isn't your thing but you still want to immerse yourself in the St. Patty’s Day festivities, be sure to visit The Galway, a premier Irish pub that promises a great time. You can enjoy dishes like Lucky Sprouts, Irish brown bread, traditional bangers and mash, or good old Shepherd's Pie. Join the experts from Dive Under Dive shops at the Gulf State Park Saltwater Pier. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or a beginner snorkeler, it’s a perfect chance to support the local waters and enjoy the experience with others. The Dive shop is offering FREE rental tanks for certified divers and snorkeling gear for beginners. Registration is open and expected in advance of clean up day to pick up your equipment at the shop. The Pier will be temporarily closed for this event starting at 8AM to noon. Hotdogs will be available and a chance to sign up for prizes.
