Luna’s Eat & Drink will be offering not one but two buffet options this Thanksgiving—one in the restaurant and another in Magnolia Hall next door. For $30 per adult (with discounts for children), guests can enjoy a wide selection of entrées including turkey with gravy, glazed ham, and buttermilk-brined fried chicken. The buffet also features 13 sides, such as mashed potatoes, stuffing, and sweet potato casserole. Wolf Bay Lodge Foley invites guests to its Thanksgiving Day Buffet, offering an extensive array of holiday favorites on November 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Diners can enjoy traditional dishes such as roasted turkey breast with gravy, prime rib with horseradish cream, baked ham, and cornbread dressing. The buffet also features various hearty sides like sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, macaroni and cheese, and more. A selection of assorted desserts will be available to round out the meal. The buffet is priced at $40 for adults and $20 for children aged 4 to 12, with kids under 3 eating for free. Flora-Bama Thanksgiving Potluck - We are so thankful each year for the wonderful guests, fantastic team members and amazing surroundings. The Flora-Bama invites you to eat, drink and be thankful at our traditional Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner. The turkey and ham will be provided by the Flora-Bama, and we encourage our patrons to bring a covered dish to share (disposable pans preferred) - because that’s what the season is all about! The Annual Fort Morgan Oyster Fest is set to take place this weekend, February 22nd & 23rd at The Beach Club Resort & Spa. The event features all-you-can-eat oysters, live music, craft vendors, and various activities for attendees; including a larger kids area. This year's festival features several improvements, including daily ticket caps to control crowds and prevent long lines.

After 15 years of dedicated service, Gulf Shores Police Chief Ed Delmore has announced his retirement. Mayor Robert Craft informed the city council of Chief Delmore’s intent during a meeting this week. While he will no longer be heading the police department, Chief Delmore will stay on the force as a special investigator until the end of his term, which ends in November.
