‘Winter at The Wharf’ Scheduled Events

The chill is in the air and it is time for Winter at The Wharf . The seasonal events are a local tradition. Below are some of the season's best for family fun.

 

“Winter at The Wharf is bringing the festive cheer again this year,” said Sheena Mizell, marketing and public relations director, The Wharf. “Our hope is to bring joy to the area with our annual events and winter charity campaign."

 

The Wharf’s Anchor Campaign charity event will feature a donation match at the ice-skating rink benefitting Toys for Tots. The fun activities for all ages this season include the following attractions: 

 

Photos with Santa

Weekends; November 10 - December 24, 2023

Ho Ho Holiday photo time with Santa at The Wharf! Jolly Claus has checked his list already — twice, actually — so make sure you are on your best behavior when you snap a frame-worthy photo. You can bring your letter to him and share your must-have toys and joys, then capture the moment to remember forever!

Ice Skating Rink presented by Pepsi

Daily; November 17, 2023 – January 15, 2024

Let us bring winter to you! Grab a pair of skates and glide, spin or fall into the season by coasting on blades along the Gulf Coast with us! Skate on Tuesdays for WKRG News 5, Give 5 and a $5 donation will be made in your honor for Toys for Tots from The Wharf and

Black Friday Shopping

Christmas Tree Lighting hosted by the City of Orange Beach

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at The Wharf! Help us usher in the holiday season with bulbs, garland and glee. The annual tree lighting hosted by the City of Orange Beach is the perfect ceremony to inspire the Yuletide spirit.

Holiday SPECTRA Laser Light Experience

Nightly; November 28 – December 31, 2023
6 pm + 7 pm | Main Street at The Wharf
Enjoy the special Holiday SPECTRA Laser Light Experience Show. For a limited time, the spectacle will celebrate the joyous season with timeless tunes and classic sing-a-longs. This display is certain to bring you holiday cheer! See Main Street as it’s transformed into a magical stage where the palm trees are energized with life and become the stars of the display!

Holly Days on Main Festival hosted by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber

Saturday + Sunday, December 9-10, 2023

This beloved December tradition in Coastal Alabama is coming back for a fourth year! Vendors of all types will be on Main Street with a selection of gifts that are certain to make your holiday special. Be sure to also take in the sights and sounds of performances from area students, an art showcase, lighted boat parade and maybe even a visit from the big man in red.

Kids Confetti Drop presented by Beachball Properties

Kids whose bedtime comes well before midnight will get to ring in the New Year hours early at the annual Kids Confetti Drop presented by

The Foley Music and a Movie event is returning to Heritage Park. The event will include food vendors and free bounce houses for kids. This free community event features a live concert starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 18th at the park pavilion, followed by a movie shown at sunset. Guests are welcome to bring blankets or chairs to relax and enjoy the evening.
