It is often said "You never know who is going to show up" at the Flora-Bama. In the past performers like Kenny Chesney, John Rich, Ron White and the late Jimmy Buffett have popped in to sing a song or two.
This past weekend was the Annual Jack Robertson Birthday Bash which features over 30 country music artist to celebrate the years Robertson has played at the Flora-Bama.
This year had a special surprise. Billboard chart topper Riley Green came hopped on the tent stage a performed "Dixieland Delight" to the shocked crowd. You can hear everyone in the room singing along in the background. Afterwards he followed with “I Wish Grandpa’s Never Died” which is one of his chart toppers.
We asked Alabama Big Earl about his thoughts of Riley Green showing up and he said "I told him he better get in better shape because he's not much of a singer." Jack Robertson, on the other hand, said he was honored to have his friend Riley show up and remember his friends at the Flora-Bama.
