The Annual Meeting of the Minds is returning to Gulf Shores from October 22 to 29, inviting Parrot Heads and fans of Jimmy Buffett to celebrate tropical tunes and good times.

This year, for the first time, day passes will be available to the public, allowing more people to enjoy the festivities from Thursday, October 24, through Saturday, October 26. Passes can be purchased at The Hangout during the event.

The event will feature live music at well-known Gulf Coast locations, including The Hangout, Lulu's, and Flora-Bama. Scheduled performers include Mac McAnally, members of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefers Band, and the Yächtley Crëw, ensuring an exciting lineup for attendees.

Meeting of the Minds 2024 also focuses on giving back to the community, raising funds for several local and national charities. Beneficiaries include the Christian Service Center, South Baldwin Community Theatre, Skippin' & Sippin', Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and the Singing for Change Charitable Foundation.

Last year, the event raised over $37,000 for charities and collected 132 pints of donated blood. This year's aim is to build on that success while providing a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.
