Baldwin County Sheriff's Make Arrest in Bon Secour Homicide Case

Bon Secour homicide investigation underway, suspect is in custody

The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a homicide that occurred in the Bon Secour community on Friday, September 15, 2023. Authorities responded to a call concerning a shooting at a residence where they discovered a 30-year-old black male deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.


Tahjaneka Christina Armstrong emerged as a suspect during the initial stages of the investigation. She was located and detained on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Although Armstrong is currently in custody, she has been arrested on an unrelated warrant. Additional charges are pending, and further information will be released as the investigation progresses.


The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office encourages anyone with information about the whereabouts of Tahjaneka Christina Armstrong before her arrest to come forward.

Mayor Robert Craft informed the city council of Chief Delmore’s intent during a meeting this week. While he will no longer be heading the police department, Chief Delmore will stay on the force as a special investigator until the end of his term, which ends in November.
