While many people will be on Amazon Monday, there are some great online deals available on local business websites. Some have free shipping and others allow you to pick-up. You can make your holiday shopping easy and still support the local economy.

THE WHARF - Of course there are many store specials on location, but the actual "Wharf" store has discounts on several items for shipping.


COASTAL ORANGE BEACH - You can shop and have lunch here but they also are offering 25% off everything online. Gift certificates are not included but over 100 other items were available.

Travel on West Peachtree Avenue will soon be smoother after the Foley City Council approved road repairs. The council voted to fix the road near Foley Airport last week. Jeff Phillips, the city construction projects manager, explained that collapsed metal storm drainage pipes buried alongside the road had damaged the street.
