Sunday, July 9th - The original Ron Jon Surf Shop opened in 1961 in Ship Bottom, New Jersey and has now spread to Florida, South Carolina, Maryland, and Alabama. The shop is located on Perdido Beach Blvd on the west side of Orange Beach. The dream didn’t start with a store in mind, rather with Ron’s love and discovery of surfing on fiberglass boards. He quickly took the advice of his father and what started as a personal passion is now a 13-store nationwide phenomenon. Custom boards are lined up around the store as well as stylish yet active surf and beach gear. Stop by and ignite the surfer in you while taking advantage of this iconic lifestyle. You just might decide to make it a part of your lifestyle too and go for the board you’ve always dreamed of.
