How will you celebrate?

National Parents' Day is celebrated in the United States on the fourth Sunday of July each year. Today people around the world will take a moment and remember the ones who brought them into life. The children of the world sometimes question their parent's decisions and unfortunately the do not get the answer until they have their own children... or reach an age of wisdom.
President Bill Clinton established National Parents’ Day in 1994 when he signed Congressional Resolution (36 U.S.C. § 135) into law. The resolution recognized the “…uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children.” Republican Senator Trent Lott introduced the bill.
Reach out today to the ones who were your Parental figure in life. Remember that they may not be perfect but they had to write the rules of parenthood everyday because there is no ONE path for being a good parent.
Oscar Wild once wrote:
“Children start out loving their parents, but as they grow older and discover their parents are human, they become judgmental. And sometimes, when they mature, they forgive their parents, especially when they discover they are also human.”
