“Oh Danny Boy,” they’ll be no more chasing the rainbow over the bridge to get ye golden treasures filled. The coast now has a taste of a new isle right here with, ‘The Galway Irish Public House.’ From the moment guests walk in, they’ll be seeing green. The lights set the mood and the decor top to floor finished with cherry brown leather seats rings all the right bells for an Irish Pub. That flow doesn’t stop with the Guinness pour, the plates are traditional, classic and more with Corned Beef Boxcys from the appetizer menu to the Lamb Shank entrées and Irish Farmhouse Soup. Hop aboard Annie Girl for an overnight fishing trip, the Girl's specialty. From Hobbit door hangers to rock star headbangers hump day this week has all the excitement of warm summer fun to finish the last day of July with style. Escape into the fantasy world filled with fantastical things like the famous ‘smials', luxurious underground dwellings that inhabited hobbit families in J.R.R Tolkien’s famous books ‘The Lord of the Rings.’ Join other Rivendale enthusiasts at the Orange Beach Public Library where a craft class will be held teaching participants how to make their own magical hobbit door hanger to take home.
Looking for an outdoor warm summer night under the stars instead, try rocking out with the very definition of a rock band who brings the heat time and time again. 80’s head banging rock shows hit different from other rock eras and the Velcro Pygmies understood the assignment. Searching for that prize selection of shells, the kind of haul that leaves you feeling complete. We have just the right morning option for you, ‘Shorebird and Shelling Hike’ at Alabama Point. Participants have an opportunity to meet with local naturalists who will guide the group on the hike, looking for shells and shorebirds along the way. Learn about the coastal ecosystems and some of the local sea life. Come out for a calm yet exciting walk on the beach with friends old and new from 8-11AM don’t forget your shelling bag.

Join the Gulf Shores community and more for an evening of ‘S’mores on the Shore,’ The night will behold campfires on the beach where friends gather around full of laughs and melted marshmallow delights.
