A man has been arrested after a woman was found unconscious with severe injuries in a Gulf Shores roadway on Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 12:44 p.m. on January 29, officers responded to a report of an injured person in the 900 block of West Lagoon Avenue. When they arrived, they discovered a 77-year-old woman from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, lying in the road.
