New Condominium on the Beach Under Construction

News Staff • August 21, 2024

Caribe Seaside started construction on Perdido Beach Blvd.

Gulf Shores Development News

If you have driven down Perdido Beach Blvd. recently you might have seen cranes and construction next door to the Best Western Tides Hotel. A new condominium development is underway which is promoting a long list of amenities. Caribe Seaside is the latest creation of famed developer Larry Wireman. His past projects have included Caribe Resort and Turquoise Place.

Caribe Seaside is being built at one of the most picturesque beachfront locations, next to the Cotton Bayou Public Beach Access. As is common with a Wireman project, owners can expect luxury and amenities. Caribe Resort fans are already familiar with pools and unique lounging locations on site. Now those guests will be able to experience the upgrades on a beachfront property.

Caribe Seaside's website promotes such amenities as a rooftop pool and lounge, wrap around pool on elevated floors and a unique water slide from one level to a pool below. The condo units will have the luxury for which Wireman projects are known. High ceilings, stainless appliances, jetted tubs, gas grills and of course hot tubs on the balcony. The units located on the east and west side of each floor can have as many as five bedrooms.

Sales for the Caribe Seaside project have been in progress for quite a while but if a potential owner wants to get in touch with the developer they can speak with Stan Szapiel. He is the General Manager and the Qualifying Broker at Caribe Realty, Inc. in Orange Beach, AL.

Larry Wireman states our company motto is to create a project “Unlike any Other.” Caribe Seaside appears it will deliver on that promise.

In recent years people have applied for business licenses on the beach which include jet ski rentals, banana boat rides, private party catering, chair services and the never ending amount of weddings. Orange Beach will take a new city ordinance to further prohibit “commercial activity” on beaches, shorelines and waterways in the city. “There have been some business licenses that have come through recently that we needed some clarification on,” Deputy Coastal Resources Director Nicole Woerner said. “We just don’t want our beaches to be overrun and our waterways with people just selling and doing all kinds of things.”
