The City of Orange Beach's 2023 Roadway Resurfacing Project is underway, with crews milling and repaving 14 city streets over the next few weeks.

The project began this week on Spinnaker Way at Captain's Cove and will end across the bay.

Other streets that will be paved before the end of the year include Burkhart Lane, Callaway Drive, Wolf Bay Circle, County Road 95, Cove Drive, Cypress Street, Holder Road, Josephine Drive, Maple Street, Pine Boulevard, Pine Way, West Perdido Avenue, and Wolf Bay Avenue.

The Orange Beach City Council awarded the resurfacing project to Arrington Curb & Excavation, Inc. in early October. The project is expected to cost $745,990 and be complete by mid-December.

Residents are asked to be aware of construction zones and to use caution when driving in the area.
