Monday, November 4th - Looking for a night filled with comical competition that dares the intellect and fun fact knowledge? Take your try at one of the island's trivia challenges. First up, hang loose at the Hangout in Gulf Shores where the games begin at 4:30PM. For one hour, participants can compete against others in the restaurant for a chance to win various prizes and have a little fun. Big Beach Trivia on Monday nights begins at 6:30Pm and lasts two hours with multiple rounds and unlimited brewing options ‘till close. Bring a group and make a team, go solo or make friends when you get there and learn some silly and interesting facts you may not have known and show up the ones you do. Make the evening complete with dinner to go along with the entertainment. The Hangout will have their full menu available and the Brewery will have their SnackHouse open from 4-9PM.

Tuesday, November 5th - The Alabama Bald Eagle Restoration project is soaring with success. Stop by the Gulf State Park Learning Campus to join the team and other nature preservers to find out more about the educational program that explores in detail the remarkable recovery of these majestic birds of prey. While there, guests will have an opportunity to learn about the comeback population of Bald Eagles in Alabama and just what they've been up to along with the state's efforts to protect them. The event is free and starts at 2PM, a great time to hop in after or before voting and pay homage to America’s Founding Fathers' selection for the emblem of the nation.

Wednesday, November 6th - Wednesdays are for wine and tasty delights from Zeke Restaurant hosted upstairs at The Port. The night will feature bottles from Jackson Family Wines in a wine pairing dinner curated to tempt every taste bud. A representative from Jackson Family wines will guide patrons through this unique pairing. Chef Ricky’s dishes carefully selected to complement each glass. While wining and dining, dinner guests will have a first-rate cotton bayou water view to go along with live jazz music by, James Andrew. The menu and atmosphere call for “smart casual” attire, cocktails start at 6PM and dinner will be promptly served at 6:30PM. Thursday, November 7th - Find connection opportunities all day from book signings with author Felicia Ferguson at Emporium at C in Orange Beach for her latest beach loving book, “When Secrets Come Calling.” Then even more special opportunities with the Gulf Shores Community EXPO. If you've ever wondered about local groups, how to get involved or for informational purposes only, today is the day for you. From 11AM to 1PM the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center will open their doors to showcase tables each representing various civic groups, clubs and other organizations the real behind the scenes and heartbeat of small island communities. Then again from 4PM-6PM for those unable to make it out earlier in the day. Take this time to ask questions as well and get involved and connect in real time with real local members of the community.

Friday, November 8th - Today marks the second full day of the 40th annual festival that showcases over 200 Nationally acclaimed singers and songwriters as well as Grammy Award winners and fresh new talent. What started at the world-famous bar, the Flora-Bama in honor of the late night watchman, Frank Brown, has since spread to venues all along the Gulf Coast highlighting the art and stories behind the music and song. This 11 day musical extravaganza presents not only an opportunity for artists to rep their talent some for the first time to an excited crowd, but also workshops and seminars helping guide new performers with a little help from their friends. Saturday, November 9th - Fill the day with historical facts that encourage and inspire with “History of The Pelican Girls.” Learn about a small, fierce group of women sent to Louisiana by the French King Louis XlV straight into the arms of some of the male settlers. The women often came from great hardships including being orphaned, made prisoners, even mental patients. These women would go on to rise up after only two years in protest against the men. This revolt is often revered as the first women's rights movement in North America. The Baldwin County Genealogical Society with Dr. Allison Henry will be at the Foley Public Library to answer questions and share some stories of these remarkable brides from 10AM–1PM.

Sunday, November 10th - Burgers Brats and Beer Fest fun will be at Heritage Park from 10AM–6PM. Admission is $5, 12 and under can enjoy for free. Come hungry to check out different food vendors with everything from burgers, brats, sample sizes to try them all and other menu items for purchase. Don’t fret about the lines to multiple bar tents, and drink tents will be sprinkled throughout the festival course for shorter wait times. Not only is the day featuring some delicious food items to try, there will also be lanes dedicated to the arts and crafts with gifts expanding to home decor and other unique gifts or personal items. Bring the whole family and stay a while, letting the kids take part in some or all of the activities in kid lane like the petting zoo, bounce houses and more for an additional $5 for huge entertainment possibilities.
