The team's six demonstration pilots fly the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornets in more than 70 shows at 34 locations throughout the United States each year, where they still employ many of the same practices and techniques used in their inaugural 1946 season. The Blue Angels are stationed at NAS Pensacola.

The Blue Angels' performance is not just about the pilots. The team also includes a number of other key players, including maintenance and support staff, who ensure that the aircraft are in top condition for each performance.
