Anglers and fishing enthusiasts are gearing up for three days of competition at the 2nd Annual Charter Boat Billfish Tournament, set to take place from September 5th to 7th, at Zeke’s Landing & Marina. This event promises not just big fish but also big boats and big fun, attracting participants and spectators alike to the Gulf Coast.


The tournament kicks off on Thursday, September 5th, with a Captain's Meeting at 9am, where participants will receive essential guidelines and event details. Following the meeting, the action begins at 12pm with a shotgun start at Perdido Pass, signaling the start of the competition as boats race to prime fishing spots in hopes of landing the biggest catch.


The competition will culminate on Saturday, September 7th, with weigh-ins begin at 5pm at Mo Fishin’ Bar, located at Zeke's Landing. This evening will be a highlight for both participants and onlookers, featuring live music by Jenna McClelland from 6pm to 10pm, along with drink and food specials to enhance the festive atmosphere.


All participating vessels are required to return under the Perdido Pass Bridge by 7pm on the final day of the tournament, Saturday. The event will conclude with an award ceremony immediately following the weigh-ins, recognizing the top anglers and their impressive catches.
