The Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon is scheduled to take place on September 9, 2023, in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The event is a collaborative effort between Team Magic, Gulf Shores | Orange Beach Sports & Events, the City of Gulf Shores, the City of Orange Beach, and Gulf State Park. This marks the 16th year of the event, which offers participants a choice between an Olympic distance triathlon and a beginner-friendly sprint triathlon known as the "Tri-It-On" Triathlon.

The event will be hosted at
The Hangout, a 1950s beachside venue revived at its original location. The Hangout will serve as the main staging area, finish line, packet pick-up location, and post-race party venue. The triathlon will feature a 1.5K swim in the Gulf of Mexico, a 40K bike ride through Gulf State Park, and a 10K run. The "Tri-It-On" version will consist of a 300-yard swim, a 9-mile bike ride, and a 2-mile run.

The event is sponsored by Brett-Robinson and marks the 14th time it will be hosted by The Hangout. The race promises a scenic course with a swim in the Gulf, a flat and fast bike course alongside the ocean, and a picturesque run to Gulf State Park. The location for the event is Gulf Shores Public Beach & Gulf Place Town Green, situated at 101 E Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542.

The Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon offers a unique opportunity for both seasoned athletes and beginners to participate in a well-organized event in a stunning location. With multiple race options and a host of amenities, the event promises to be a memorable experience for all involved.
