News Staff • September 25, 2023

There are only 5 games left in the regular season

The Gulf Shores High School Football team is now 5 -0 for the season and ranked 2nd in State 5A football. Only Ramsay High in Birmingham ranks higher according to MaxPreps.

The dolphins scored all 44 points of their win in the first 3 quarters of the game against LeFlore. Kolin Wilson made the first score with a 14 yard run up the center. Quarterback Jud Harris decided to run for a TD himself and throw another to Ronnie Royal.

The coaching staff, led by Mark Hudspeth, substituted some players and the scores kept on coming. The defense even got into the action with a safety. Alex Rippy took over OB duties and led the Dolphins for the final quarters.

The team next takes on Murphy High School in Mobile. The Panthers are 0 - 5 for the year but play in the 6A division. The last four games will be played in the south Baldwin area with three of them at home in Gulf Shores.
