Beryl is the first hurricane of the season and the second named storm of the year. The National Hurricane Center has issued advisories for the southwestern region of the Gulf of Mexico. While the storm does not appear to hold any imminent danger for the Alabama coast, we will provide updates as it enter the waters of the southern waters.
