continuing into this year’s Marketplace season. Onlookers may find anything from fresh vegetables

and plants to arts and crafts from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with live entertainment starting at 6 p.m. At

Dusk, Movie in the Park will start and concessions will open and are available to purchase as well as

grilled hot dogs and burgers from Boy Scout Troop 77. Guests are encouraged to bring either a

blanket or chair to relax and enjoy the movie in comfort and style. This weekend’s movie feature will

be the Disney movie Encanto.

Also happening this Friday starting at 7:30p.m as part of the C Spire Concert Series, Country Music

superstar Kenny Chesney will be performing at the Wharf Amphitheater alongside special guest

Kelsea Ballerina. Stop by the San Bar and pregame to tunes from local legend the Smoky Otis Band

world-famous Bushwacker and spend the whole day.

The Memorial Day weekend wouldn’t be complete without one of Flora- Bama’s annual Bikini

Contests. Saturday, May 27th at 3 p.m. join Miss Memorial Day contestants in the tent for a venture

to watch them compete at becoming a top finalist. Once a top finalist has been selected from all

three annual contests they have an opportunity to compete in the Labor Day Finale for a chance to

win a $5,000 Grand Prize.

Friday through Sunday, Flora Bama excluding Oyster Bar, Yacht Club, Ole River Grill, and Gift Shop

will be a CASH ONLY event. For guest convenience plenty of ATMs will be available on sight, however

coming cash prepared is always best.

We can’t forget this Saturday at Lulu”s in Gulf Shores it’s LuluPalooza time an annual back-to-back

outdoor music day that kicks off summer fun, filled with great food, Mountain of Youth Ropes

Course, Arcade complete with prizes, and featuring Flow Tribe. The music will start at noon and end

at 8 p.m.
