Foley Senior Center has water aerobics and much more

Foley Senior Center

If you want to stay cool this summer you may want to consider water aerobics at the Max Griffin pool in Foley or play some card games in their air conditioned Senior Center.

The mission of the City of Foley Senior Center is to provide opportunities for the “young at heart” to meet and enjoy a wide variety of social, educational, health and recreational activities while promoting the positive aspects of senior status to them, their families, and the community at large.

The Foley Senior Center states" If you thought the senior years were a time of slowing down, you haven’t been to the Foley Senior Center." This wonderful gathering place for adults ages 50 and older defies all stereotypes of the older population. Six days a week the Foley Senior Center is hopping with activity.

For more than 20 years the center has offered a wide variety of activities and has consistently grown and expanded to meet the needs of seniors of all ages. Programs and activities help participants “SIP” from the fountain of youth, encouraging Social, Intellectual and Physical activity, which has been proven to show overall improvements in quality of life.
